    Despite a hurricane we had an amazing time. The room (612) is perfect, Honua Kai is perfect, Maui is perfect. Maui Properties called us before the hurricane hit to see if we needed anything, checked on us - just a great company. We have used them in the past and consider them experts at Honua Kai.

    Clean well-appointed condo with great ocean and mountain views. Easiest vacation check-in ever! We loved Dukes, the ocean access and beach walk access at the property. Self-parking was easy and provided quick access to the elevator to our condo.

    4th time staying in this particular unit, good location and very helpful staff.
    I would suggest a new vacuum as the one in the room didn't work well at all, also some area rugs would be wonderful since there is tile on the flooring throughout now.
    Nothing to do with this unit, but Ania, the market on the main level. They never had any food for purchase, we waited 45 min one day for a breakfast sandwich, another day the blender was broken and they couldn't make smoothies. We have stayed at HK twice a year for the past 8 years and it has always been great. Not sure what is going on with Ania, but it was certainly a disappointment as we do stay at HK for the amenities and Ania Market was one.

    Third time staying in this unit, great spot and we do really prefer to be on this side of the Honua Kai building facing out. We find since it’s on the outside you have a bit more privacy from the fishbowl feel the interior rooms have.
    Only thing we would add are some area rugs to the family room and bedrooms. The new tile is nice looking but cold and hard and furniture slips around on it.
    Looking forward to returning in April for another stay here!

    This condo is very spacious and clean, has all we need. I brought my 20months old baby, the management waived his head count out of max capacity, thank you for that! This is ocean view condo but it is side way of ocean view balcony, not a directly in front of ocean but it still gives you enough ocean view that we still watched the whales every mornings from the balcony.
    During stay, my family has used washer and dryer pretty much everyday because there is no cleaning and exchanging clean towels so we have to do laundry which was totally ok for us. But hot water run out(?) on 3rd day of our stay, the management sent a person to fix right away.
    My baby did not play in the pool much but definitely come back to use the kids friendly pool. The beach in front of Honua Kai resort has very very shorty send beach, not safe for kids. You have to walked to the beach near to Westin resort which is right next from Honua Kai, only 5 minuets.

    I stayed 4 nitghs for family vacation. This property is so convenient because there's everything you need for water sports, and close to beach and pools.
    We did BBQ at night time and close to grocery shop. And it has beautiful sunset at evening. I would definitely come back again.

    Honua Kai - Hokulani was a great experience for our family. The property is fantastic - excellent room, amazing views (throughout the property), nice pools, convenient island location, good gym and Duke's restaurant onsite! The staff at Maui Westside Properties was very professional, helpful, responsive and friendly!
